I am now on episode 5, not far, but this series has a girl searching part of a boys heart. It reminds me a lot of Tsubasa Chronicles. I thought it was going to be a dull series but I sat and watch all 5 episodes without stopping.. I think it's funny, a little corny, but has its merits.

Both feature a protagonist who is looking for the missing heart/memories of their true love while running into a large cast of quirky characters and seeing some strange sights along the way.

The plot revolves around searching for fragments of memories (here they're parts of the wings, whereas in Princess Tutu they're pieces of a heart). The one who loses memory is a prince/princess and the one who searches for them - a person who's got feelings for the amnesiac. There're also some magical elements in both series. Oh, and both are quite old: PT was released in 2002 and TC in 2005.
both are extremely dramatic stories about a prince(ss) whose memories and heart are scattered around the world in a form of small fragments, and a person who tries to collect all the fragments and return them to the owner.
They both have a prince/princess who lost pieces of themselves, and a prince/princess who tries to save them by restoring the pieces, they also have similar characters
