Both have a strong female lead moving towards stardom or surrounded by it, cool guys, romance and comedy- though the stories approach the idea in very different ways
Nodame Cantabile and Skip Beat! are very similar in a lot of different aspects.
they both have a main character who is an awkward wall flower. they both strive to become a professional actor or musician and their passion in their work breaks through as inspirational!
they both have a love interest- although Skip Beat!'s interest is not as obvious as Nodame Cantabile,and is also less shown. but it is stated that its there.
either one are both something to look into. :D
I've always found these two parallel in their ways of showing deep psychological aspects of various professions: one is about musicians, the other is about acting technique.
