Both are urban fantasies that revolve around clans that draw supernatural powers from Kings (in "K", the kings are people, while in "Kaze no Stigma" the kings are spirits). Additionally, "Kaze no Stigma"'s first arc involving the main character getting framed for murder is used as the basis for the plot of "K"'s first season, and there's an arc late in both anime where normal people are granted powers via a mysterious network.
