Both are odd n wacko with atypical characters. Both are character driven - they are well pulled out and the focus of all circumstances, humour or otherwise. Gekkan is multi-character, while Watamote is focused on one female.
In a sense, either of the shows are about facing reality.. especially of people's personalities.
