The same psyological roller coaster of emotions is shown in both as the characters find out it is a game with your life at stake. From trust to disbelief, to saving another over yourself and then back down to fear driven paranoia.
Death games. Death games everywhere. In both anime, leading up to the conclusion of said death games, there's a mystery to be solved and gaps to be filled. Both anime also have nice art and a colorful cast of characters.
They both involve characters who are trapped unless they play a game of life and death and the art styles are similar.

Both have ''game'' themes and have a lot of psychological battles *density in them.Death parade is a bit more serious but i think this is one of the reasons you will enjoy it even more. Both have really suprising moments and escalations. Have fun!

If you Danganronpa's plot keep you fun and thrill, then you probably enjoy death parade as well. Even though it involved lockup people and your only hope to get out is play game, the story have difference a objective
Very similar with the emotions it you will feel watching the 2 animes.
they might have a little different but they are both mild gory but a very interesting plot about being stuck in a place and trying to leave the place they are stuck in and their are only 12 ep in death parade so its a nice and fast story.
Not sure a psychological horror the capture unique and dark subjects. They are very interesting to watch as both have good plot. Highly recommend.
