Both are survival horrors directed by Seiji Kishi. They are adaptations of console video games and are aimed at youger audience. The style of animation is also similar - cartoonish yet somewhat dark.

Both of the anime is derived and adapted from a game. And storylines are pretty much the same, someone has to die, the fact that most people die and whatsoever.

* Both are average game adaptations...
* Both series features highschoolers who were trown in chaotic situation for no reason...
* Both Male leads are really dislikeable... (even their VA's)
* Both has pretty big cast....which was not needed at all...
* Both has lots of unexplained things in them...
* Did I mentioned that nearly every character in these series are so freakin' boring??
* BGM's are great ( seriously they're good )
* Impossible to binge in one day period....(boring, predictable)
= So, if you like bland characters, boring storyline and game adaptations you'll probably will enjoy one of these anti-masterpieces for sure...
Both being death game related stories and with a ya cast as well being placed in alot of danger as well too and anyone can die at any given moment as well too.
