Both are gory and have many death troughout the series
the differences are the death in aot are other character or maybe the important ones. And re zero death is only the mc,but can return by death but other may be involved
other similarities:
-they both thrilling
-both mc have unknown power
-both world have dangerous nature(although lugunica is a little bit on peaceful than aot)
-both have abnormal or unknown creatures outside their world
