The relationship between a mythical being/animal and a human one is one that brings the strangest of developments for a human-like us. Despite being of two separate lifeforms the conveying of emotion is the same regardless.
Princess Mononoke and Boy and Beast check out with the two being about connections between the interspecies relationship as said above.
