If you liked the slice of life elements of Hataraku Maou-Sama you'll like Gin no saji. Although they differ in the magic element, Sadao feels similar to Yuugo in the self beating humor, although he is not as shy as Yuugo. They both have a coming of age theme, Yuugo having to just deal with hard decisions in life and sadao having to abandon his past and working, plus some romance in both.
