First: They're both under the genre shoujo-ai/yuri though the main in Otome wa Boku ni Koishiteru is a male.
Second: Both anime has the soeur-system, or the sister-system.
Third: Both series is catholic, though you'll see some buddhism in Marimite.
So if you liked the Otome wa Boku ni Koishiteru-serie, you will propably like Marimite.

Both school slice of life's theme around the innocent and pure kind of yuri within an all-girls 'ojousama' academy where the act of having a sœur ("sister") is prevalent in their school systems.
Marimite has its mix of lighthearted fluff and serious drama whereas Otoboku is rather hyperactive and fun most of the time compared to.
However, the chemistry of characters within both are strong and their relationships with each other are a big focus to their character developments.
