Both are 90s cop anime OVA series (though You're Under Arrest later becomes a full multi-season TV series). Both anime feature dated comedy, and a wonderful mix of outlandish plots, cop stuff (like chasing criminals), and comedy. You're Under Arrest has more character development and real police investigations and "missions", whereas Mainichi ga Nichiyoubi is mostly a gag anime. I personally prefer You're Under Arrest, but if you liked one and need more 90s anime cop shenanigans, can't go wrong with either show.
