Both are action anime that follow a group of female high school students who moonlight as ninjas (in "Release the Spyce", Tsukikage are spies but they fight like ninjas). In both cases, they face off against an evil organization similar to theirs. Additionally, pretty much all the characters can be compared to each other:
Momo=Asuka
Yuki=Ikuraga
Hatsume=Katsuragi
Goe=Daidouji
Fu=Yagyu
Mei=Hibari
I prefer "Release the Spyce", as it has better plot and characters, crisper visuals and MUCH less fanservice, though "Senran Kagura" has better music.
