I once heard someone refer to Zombieland Saga as the gateway drug into idol anime. If you ended up enjoying the cute girls singing and dancing more than you thought you would, watch Love Live!

Both features a group of aspiring girls who wants to be an idol. Both muse and Franchouchou do have a similar goal. Both want to revive a dying place and want to be famous.
Both anime does show the struggles of being an idol, being a zombie or not. With many emotional moments which allow the characters to grow.
