May be slow at first, but the plot and character development is amazing!!! Full of action and comedy!!! MY FAVORITE ANIMES!!!
In both animes the characters that fight the "evil" have some weapons that only them can use. In D.Gray-Man the exorcists have their own innocence while in Noragami the gods need to find a pure soul to create their own which reminds me of how the akuma and souls are related in the show.
Also, D.Gray-Man and Noragami are more focused on a story of one main male character and his group of friends that always contains one girl that both want to protect more than anything. We can also compare how Yato and Allen lost their weapon for various reasons but still never gave
