The set of main characters are in their second year of junior high school and undergoing great emotional upheavals and life crisis, so the overall psychological situation of the characters is very similar.
Trying to get by. Mob Psycho 100 and Chunnibyou are distinct with plots through protagonists Mob and Yuuta are both characters who simply try to get by in life, despite the large obstacle at hand, self-proclaimed exorcist Reigen and chuunibyou Rikka, preventing them from doing so.
With MP100 being a visual delight of an action anime about getting by without using powers, Chuunibyou is a sweet, heartwarming rom-com about delusions.
