Kyoukai no Kanata

Both Rika and Mirai have similar personality and character design. Also Yuuta and Akihito are drawn to our lovely female protagonist. In Chuunibyou: our main female and friends are chuunibyou or 8th grade syndrome aka Delusion of Grandeur. They are able to create imaginative battle sequences which we see throughout the series. In Kyoukai no Kanata: everyone has some sort of supernatural powers within them. Both series retain the comedy and drama atmosphere. Kyoto Animation is the same studio for both Chuunibyou, Kyoukai no Kanata and many other series. I would recommend you check out their other works.

The fake 8th grader syndrome fantasy delusions that Rikka has in Chuunibyou are very similar in style (both being made by Kyoto Animation) to the real fights in Kyoukai no Kanata. Both have similar male and female protagonists where the male protagonist is pulled into problems by the female protagonist who won't leave him alone. They also have both a mix of comedy and drama, but from what I've seen of KnK so far, it has more drama than comedy while Chu2 is more of an even mix.
Both of these deal with comedy and supernatural action (but for Chuunibyou it's just Illusion) . Each of them are also produced by KyoAni
while chunninbyou's supernatural side is fake, KnK has it real
both of the anime is created by KyoAni, so it has the same visual art overall, and it's marvelous too

-The art has been produced by the House of KyoAni (Kyoto Animation) Hence, it is very similar.

- Both shows was made by Kyoto Animation.
- The Character designs and their mannerism is Similiar.
- Premise in Both shows is Similar. ( male character dragged into all sorts of problems by a strange, socially awkward female lead.)
- Despite the fact that Chuunibyou is comedy both anime have well animated fight sequences.
- Same type of Story Telling!
- Both pull at your heartstrings near the end of the series and leave you wanting more.
- They are both beautiful and endearing succinctly told stories.
The situations in Beyond the Boundary are more serious and often dangerous, whereas the situations in Chuuibyou are mostly comedic.

both are by the same studio, are similarly enjoyable, with pretty much the same downfalls. the characters throughout both are largely endearing, if tropey, and their daily lives are full of feel-good goofy antics, with both main heroines having a few deeper and more emotional undertones to their usual airheaded vibe.
quite often in both, the actual plot ends up a little bit buried under slice-of-life moe, which, in chu-2 isn't so much of a problem, but as KnK is a little more ambitious with its fantasy setting and plot, it's a little more noticeable there. in my opinion, KnK makes up for what it loses

When fight scenes are more beautiful in a slice of life moe comedy than most shonen, you know you are watching a great show. Created by the same studio Kyoto Animation, Kyoukai no Kanata and Chuunibyou have the same spirit, with many similarities.
Both are character-driven stories about a cute high school girl not being "normal", having an emotional backstory, and overcoming it with the help of the male protagonist, to eventually develop a romance. In fact, we can say that Mirai Kuriyama really live what Rikka Takanashi imagines with her chuunibyou, and both characters are beautifully written.
