Also to me, the powers in both seriers (all parts) seem to be somewhat similar.
The powers can take often take form apart from the user. They even have a certain degree of autonomy, and individual names. Certain limitations apply, for example regarding range.
The "stand" system in Jojo seems more elaborate to me though. However, the more chaotic manifestations in Bungou Stray Dogs can be a fun watch too.
This comparison applies to all seasons of JoJo and Stray Dogs. One of the main similarities that I noticed between two series is that their characters and the powers of these characters are based off of real people or groups and their works. JoJo names their characters and stands with well known bands and musical artists. JoJo also uses song names to name stand powers as well. Stray Dogs names their characters off of well known authors or writers. Their powers are named based off of the titles of some books they wrote. They both literally have the concept of otherworldly abilitied tied to gifted people, that can both be impairing to the user or 'good' to them. Or neither. Also a back and forth between humor and seriousness, although JJBA is mostly humor and weird shenanigans.
