JoJo no Kimyou na Bouken (TV), Terra Formars Recommendations
At the start of the Terra Formars series, I would never have thought I'd be comparing this show with Jojo's Bizarre Adventure. How could a show about cockroaches killing humans be similar to a show about vampires and pillar men? After watching about 10 episodes, I found the answer.
The answer is very simple. They're both outrageous. Simply outrageous.
Let's take a look at Jojo first of all and see why it succeeded as the popular anime we know today. Characters are know to be extremely muscular and GAR. Side characters are constantly dying. The battles are remarkably memorable and particularly so extraordinary to the point the
series is regarded as "BIZARRE". Of course, the art is very unique compared to what most anime fans see today. The antagonists are particularly eccentric. You'll even compare Dio's "WRYYYYYYYY!" and the Terra Formars' "JOHJ!" as iconic cries. The character development in Jojo is overall well done for the main characters and are remembered for their charming flamboyance.
Terra Formars surprisingly shares many of these qualities. To name a few; both share over-the-top violence (you should watch it uncensored if you like gore), exaggerated-yet-moving drama and AMAZING opening and ending songs. They also share kick-ass women, major character character development and a very unique art style. You will undoubtedly feel that similar adrenaline rush in many of the battles when watching Terra Formars as you did with Jojo.
Lastly, I need to mention that they share competent narrators. They make explaining the superpowers and plot much easier which makes up for the arguably ridiculous synopsis they both have. If it weren't for them, both shows would perhaps make no sense at all in many parts of the show, leaving many of the viewers confused.
The only downfall to Terra Formars is its weak start. Although many people argue that Jojo 2012 also had a somewhat weak start, Terra Formar's first five episodes are abysmal to the majority who watch it. Examples include weak pacing, seemingly poinless deaths and many questionable character decisions along with many "WTF's" in the plot explanation. Nevertheless, viewers have to option of seeing the Terra Formars OVA which thankfully makes up for the series' lackluster starting performance as the bad-ass OVA precedes the TV series in chronological order.
Tl;Dr Any viewers who enjoyed watching Jojo's Bizarre Adventure (2012) should take a look at Terra Formars as it shares similar levels of intensity, gore, over-the-top abilities, drama, and "outrageous-ness".

In each of these two episodes, there's a new fight introducing new techniques. Each character has its own abilities: A stand / or the abilities of a certain animal/insect, unfortunately compared to JoJo, the enemies are not very different, they may have different techniques but they're all cockroaches, but every fights are interesting thanks to the abilities of each character, they can improve with time, the story in both are mysterious like who created the mask/evolved the cockroaches ? Who put the mask here/who put the cockroaches on Mars ? So if you like any of these two animes, you might find the same system
and same feeling in both of them.
