Both anime are somewhat similar: - Main Characters - Girls - Surrounded/Protected by Guys - Reverse Harem - Romance - Comedy - Action - Adventure - Lives Change - Both Nanami and Yona are around the age 16. The main differences that I notice right away are: - Yona is a Princess and Nanami is a Land God - Akatsuki no Yona is more about Princess Yona reclaiming her Kingdom

- earnest, hardworking, caring, and cute female lead (they have the same facial expressions and attitude!!!) - learns to become stronger - female was forced to leave her home - male lead who is their protector and is very strong - somewhat of a harem, but not the main point -historical - in KH, it is about gods and such,b ut is set in modern day - in AnY, it is actually set in the past

While Kamisama Kiss has much lighter tones than Akatsuki no Yona, the characters and messages are very similar, with the main characters being rather ditzy and non-chalant before entering a world of many responsabilities. However, while they are very similar, Akatsuki no Yona's romance is more of a sideplot as in Kamisama Kiss, the romance is a main plot.

Similarities between Akatsuki no Yon and Kamisama Hajimemashita: ★ Character Lives: Both female leads were strays at one point, meaning kicked out from their homes due to many reasons. ★ Character Personalities: Both female leads work very hard to achieve something they want and to live in a better environment, and the male leads are all very strong and does everything in their will to protect the female protagonists. ★ Genre: Both animes are very shoujo, and focuses on one female protagonist being protected by several male leads. Both animes are also very comedic as well. ★ Plot: Both female leads have very important roles   read more

Both series are reverse harem. Both stories has powerful male characters and they have to protect the female MC. The female MC starts weak then later she becomes stronger. The romance and comedy is pretty good.

Kamisama Hajimemashita and Akatsuki no Yona are the two shoujo that shaped my childhood haha. They both have a mystical setting, strong female protagonists, an endearing cast, great openings, good comedy and more serious/dramatic moment that make you involved in the plot. I'm sure that if you watched one of them but haven't watched the other, it will automatically become your new favorite anime haha. So yeah be sure to give it a shot!

Fantasy Romance, compared to the others is definitely lacking on the romance part, I wish there was more seasons but it's worth putting on you list.
