Midnight Eye: Gokuu II

Watching Goku II: Midnight Eye, many things about it reminded me of City Hunter, despite being a somewhat different thing overall.
The setting in Midnight Eye, while futuristic, still consists of a private detective traveling to the docks to meet a client, who is coincidentally a beautiful woman.
The action scenes are also very similar to the action in City Hunter, espcially in how they are directed.
Goku and Saeba, while not constantly the same, seem similar in some spots. Saeba is typically silly and serves as comic relief. However, there are many moments when Saeba gets serious, and it's those moments I was reminded of while watching
