I'm surprised this only has a single recommendation as of the time of writing this. The two shows both contain a similar style of comedy. Although Magi has a couple darker themes in a few episodes the overall world is cheerful and filled with colors. Perhaps it would be more appropriate to recommend the Sinbad No Bouken spin-off since that one is more lighthearted (expect episode 1)
Morgiana/Alibaba's dynamic with eachother is very similar to the main konosuba casts interactions
Both series take place in fantasy worlds with magic and exploration being central aspects.

The comedy and adventure aspects were pretty similar, and I enjoyed them in the same way.
