Both shows features heroines of young age, dealing with problems much beyond their ages. Both shows have deceptively vivid and colorful Ending Songs, and animation wise they do look for much younger audience. Despite so, both shows deals with heavy and serious themes - while Erin focuses more on the worldbilding, Brigadoon goes more on the emotional and psychological department.
