Let's start off with the commonalities and what is better to begin than the obvious? Both are romance-comedies.
They both have a similar style of comedy and to me, both are really funny. The romance in both animes are also alike as at the beginning of both (regards Sorata and Mashiro), it is not quite properly one-sided (as there are feelings but its not really love) but deeper feeling develop throughout the series and eventually turns into both parties admitting, ish.
Also in both animes, the main heroine lacks common sense and relies on the hero. However, the way Ako relies on Hideki is different
