Yuukoku no Moriarty

Both explore the darkness of human nature and if there is anything redeemable in humanity. Psychological thriller? Check! Evil Genius? Check! Character designs are very similar, especially the anti-hero/villain (one of the manga spin-offs shares an artist). If you like to see both lawful and chaotic evil at work, you definitely want to check it out!

William's and Makishima's character design are almost the same (well, no wonder when it comes out of the same studio) and they're both as excellent anti-heroes that you just can't help but cheer for them. Both series are about crimes and injustice and (later on) psychological wars between two main rivals. Both anime are enjoyable as hell
if you liked Makishima you'll like liam moriarty, crimes good or bad type of dillemas are reused also its drawn by the same person and the people are just as hot
- The story of both anime is told in a dystopian world and they are very dark
- The character designer of both anime is Mr. Hikaru and both anime are realistic
- Moriarty and Makishima are using crime to raise awareness
- We see two geniuses fighting in both anime ( Makishima V Kougami - Moriarty V Sherlock )
