Both are very sweet with some touching moments and well animated.
In both main female character runs a cute little shop.
Gives a familiar feeling... an heartwarming story about overcoming the hardships of letting go of the beloved one, never give up and keep going on.

Both animes treat about sad theme - death, which is taking away person you love the most. At first shows look like very sad, depressing and hard series, but they're certainly not like this. If you look closer, they're quite colorful, though very peaceful. Quite modern art, colorful animation, soft (and not sad) music and theme of everyday life make them very light series, which can help you understand death and life more, but probably won't left you depressed for a months.

Both shows focus on the perspective of one of the members of a couple who's struggling to cope with the sudden loss of their loved one.
