Casshern Sins

Both male leads go on a journey filled with despair and sadness. Both do not remember who and what they truly are, and they slowly discover the truth and consequence of their existence as time progresses. Same dark atmosphere, same philosophical storytelling.
They have a really similiar feeling to them. They're both dark and they both have main characters struggling with being born/created "evil" (Or at least people telling them so). Casshern Sins feels a bit like Hameln with a better budget (But without the classical music).
