If you gender-flip the characters, you'll realize these two anime have a lot in common, from both having a set of four quirky main protagonists (complete with one who is secretly or not-so-secretly a fish-like alien in both), to the dazzling color palette and great animation with retro-rock vibe openings and endings, and 12-episode run.
