Both shows focus on shut protagonists who grow/develop through their experiences with other weird characters. Both shows as well have very summery vibes to them through art style, OST, overall production

Both are slice of life animes that deal with nature- Tsuritama with fishing, and Silver Spoon with farming. Both of the main characters are thrown into situations that they didn't want to really be involved with either, and also have to adjust to their new surroundings. The main characters of both series also come to understand and respect the other side as well, gaining a newfound respect for something they had no interest in previously.
Both have a refreshing feel to them.
Excellent SoL.
Made by A-1 Pictures (I understand the stigma but that doesn't mean they dont make good anime).
MCs are "new" to their setting and circumstances.
Good friendships.
Cute moments.
Relieving to watch tho Tsuritama moves a bit to the edge of "Supernatural" or rather "Sci-fi" side.
Both are enjoyable to watch though subjectively, I prefer one over the other (wont mention for bias influence)
