Comparisons have been drawn between these two since the latter's inception. Both teams of transforming magical boys against dark powers/conspiracies. Each give their characters unique looking armors/cloths.

Samurai Troopers is clearly inspired by Saint Seiya, an action packed quest full of great battles, destructive powers and amazing armors, but now with a feudal Japan theme. The art style is amazing and the story is basic but fun with some loveable characters.
