Both anime are my favorites and why I love them is that I get this soft feeling in my chest while watching them. They are full of this gentle love and though it is a bit tragic, it leaves you with that gentle warm sadness that actually makes you feel weirdly calm.
Four-legged family. Wolf Children and She and Her Cat: Everything Flows are both around the relationship between something with some animal in them and a human.
Wolf Children is about Hana and her literal half-human half-wolf children, whereas She and Her Cat is much less supernatural with a human and a cat relationship; Miyu and Chobi.
Both are good s.o.l anime about how bonds can be formed even with the scaled differences that exist. With Wolf Children being more dramatic, She and Her Cat is more romantic.
