Both are very similar in which an experienced guy meets inexperienced girl and they both learn how to express their feelings of mutual love for one another.
Both anime have similar plot: girl meets the most popular and handsome boy in school, hates him, falls in love with him and then they start dating. Also in both anime the boy’s past haunts the relationship. The two main differences are the animation, and the fact that Kyou, Koi wo Hajimemasu is a 2 episode OVA, while Bokura ga Ita is 26 episodes. But if you liked one give the other a try.
