Death Parade

Both are mystery anime that revolve heavily around the study of human behaviour, and aren't opposed to showing the uglier parts of humanity (ESPECIALLY not "Death Parade"). They both have fantastic visuals and a number of similar characters:
Houtarou=Decim
Eru=Black-Haired Woman
Satoshi=Clavis
Mayaka=Nona
Tomoe=Quin
The difference between them, of course, is that "Death Parade" is a supernatural series set entirely in Purgatory, while "Hyouka" is completely ordinary. Not to mention "Death Parade"'s cast is older.
Both shows are equally good, with "Death Parade" having better music while "Hyouka" has better characters.
