Their art style is very similar and the level of romance are almost the same. Even the personality and background of the female protagonists are quite similar. Chitanda is from a noble famous family while Tamako is also the daughter of a famous family-run mochi shop. Both have very cheerful, sweet and friendly personalities. The male protagonists are also both secretly in love of the female protagonists. Also, in both anime, there is a cliffhanger in the end about the romance between the main characters that would surely make you scream for more.
