Both great animations (similar drawings), both mainly about a boy and a girl, where the boy helps out the girl (A LOT). A club is an important part of the anime, but plays more of a role in Hyouka. Also, a similar atmosphere to both animes. Both have a great soundtrack.
Similar art styles. Akihito resembles Satoshi so much. Similar school setting. A bit of enforced mystery to keep you very interested through out the series.

If you liked Hyouka, you'll definitely like Kyoukai no Kanata. Both are made by the same company, so it has the same look to it. Kyoukai no Kanata is almost exactly like Hyouka, except for the fantasy/supernatural that you find in Kyoukai no Kanata. Also while in Hyouka it has a bit of comedy/romance to it, Kyoukai no Kanata follows on that genre bit more, as well as some action. Both are good watches.
Both Hyouka and Kyoukai no Kanata shares the most similar kind of art and characters If Kyoukai no Kanata's story are about fantasy, Hyouka tells us some more reality. They both also have great soundtrack. You can feel the same air between these animes when you watch it eventhough they have different kind of story. And I'm sure you will like them.
The animation is just the best as expected from KyoAni<3
