Pumpkin Scissors

I kind of like to describe Pumpkin Scissors as FMA without the alchemy. I think it's a really underrated series that should be taken a closer look at. Both series are very enjoyable to watch in my opinion, and they also have very similar military themes. Their worlds are pretty close in terms of technology as well. If you enjoyed watching FMA, then I think you'd enjoy Pumpkin Scissors since it does have a certain charm to it. Although I have to add, the ending for this series might let you down.

Both stories are set in similar time periods and military settings. Both have a lot of silliness in the midst of rather serious military situations.
And frankly, I think Alice and Edward are practically the same person.

When watching either of the series, I get a similar feeling involving the military, comedy, drama, and action all going on at once. The technology level in both series are also similar.
Both series' countries are in a state of war and there are still animosity between various nations. The main character from both series also have similar personalities.
Both series also involves an organization where the main characters gets involved in and the events that they encounter.
