Like Kujira no Chouyaku (Glassy Ocean), Iblard Jikan is another short animation (Ghibli) with a marvelous OST set in a beautiful world of magic and colour.
The art and animation styles are very different for each, which is a nice contrast. Kujira no Chouyaku is a world of bright, bold blocks of colour (usually mono-colours), with emphasis on line and shadows (I recommend it to fans of graphic novels and comics), while Iblard Jikan is set in the style of a Sureal-Impressionist painting due to the amazing style of artist, Naohisa Inoue who created the paintings used for the animations.
