The art and the animation for both animes are very similar altough one of these two is not KyoAni animated but is heavily influenced by KyoAni's style of Art.
Both Animes have a group of friends having some weird ocurrences in between.
The two main characters look kind of alike, and the girl protagonists Iori and Riika are both making up a side to them to conceal their pain. It shows how you should be true to yourself, and it is about friends pulling through even when one of them is having hard times with their past.
The drawing is very similar to kokoro connect, it also has romance, and a beautiful plot, even though it doesn't have mistery like KC

Both are good high school romances and have a mix of comedy and drama (though Kokoro Connect has more drama while Chu-2 has more comedy). Both have very good female leads (Rikka for Chu-2 and Inaba and Iori for KC).
Do you want to feel happy, then sad, then happy, then empty inside?
Do you love the drama genre even though it keeps you up at night?
Do you want to meet best girl, then realise that she is only a 2d character, and end up depressed?
Because that's exactly what happened to me after watching both of these shows. 10/10 (?)
