These two series give off the same feeling. They are similar for two big reasons:
1) the animation looks a lot alike and
2) the relationships that the group of students hold in each series are similar
Sakurasou does not have that supernatural element though.
Kokoro Connect and Sakurasou both explore the complexities and significance of teenage relationships. While Kokoro Connect contains supernatural themes, both series revolve around understanding the importance of friendship, especially during adolescence. Romance is present in both series and fans of one will likely be able to enjoy the other.
Both are one of the best romantic-comedies ever, and it's not just the romance that makes both anime good, but the interaction between character and story line are also interesting. If you like heartwarming and interesting series, you have to check this out.

2. Both have extremely authentic and original characters
3. Both delve into the deeper, more psychological part of being a human, and finding one's worth and identity in the world.
