Although Sword Art Online has a bad reputation, you have to admit the idea/concept of the anime was actually good. the first half of Sword Art Online was good but fell apart in the second half, it was redeemed again in the movie Ordinal Scale and the 3rd season the Alicization Arc. That is the gist of the recommendation
Disposable characters, overpowered mc, no character development at all, fights are short and disappointing. Basically, disappointment in a nutshell...

Both MCs are Swordsman and have similar movement and similar fightning.
If you liked Kirito this anime will bring you the mc as kirito who has two swords, main sword is black and the another one is light.
In both animes there are cute anime girls and the MC girl is sort of similar to Asuna but not that much in my opinion.
Both MCs have great skill in Swordsmanship.
difference
Kimi to Boku..... is not Isekai anime and the storyline follows in another way.
