I would like to add that in both series there are robots with boobs, which can be pretty large in Godannar. Which makes Godannar somewhat more fanservicey on the mecha boob design level.
While piloting, the female sits in front, and the male behind her. In Darling in the Franxx, the female's position is somewhat more lewd though.
Both series deal with the dynamics of multiple couples by having them pilot two seater mecha together. They both also feature ecchi content, a heavy focus on the primary couple's romance and how their dynamics affect their piloting, and have the cast fighting against giant monsters of unknown origins
