The relationship in both shows is pretty similar. Both have an older male protagonist and younger female protagonist. The male protagonists of Inu x Boku and Koikimo spend their time assisting the girl with her problems, protecting her, and doting on her. Meanwhile the female protagonists of Inu x Boku and Koikimo argue with the guy, don't agree with his actions, but ultimately ends up appreciating his company.
Inu x Boku has more supernatural elements than Koikimo, but I feel like the type of relationship the characters have is the same.

I watched a short clip of this anime and it has very similar features to Inu x boku ss. The main character aka the girl is also a high scholar and the guy is probably older. I do recommend watching this it’s closest to Inu x boku so yea :)

The relationship between the two characters in both animes are very similar. I find myself thinking about both of them when I watched them. Inu x Boku does have supernatural elements to it as well though, but the romance is still a prominent theme in the story.
