Both are about paranormal species falling in love and stuff like that. They're both from the 80's if you like retro anime.
Both series are iconic 80's anime and both their main heroines (Lum and Madoka) are iconic 80's waifus.
Both have an episodic nature albeit KOR has a more involved plot that runs in the background. KOR has fewer recurring characters alongside fewer episodes but its characters are slightly more complex.
If you want to watch another series with a great 80's soundtrack and animation you have to pick one that you haven't seen already.
Both are 80s romcoms with zany supernatural/scifi antics that would have a fair amount of influence on the genre going forward. Their formulas are different however, as KOR follows a continuous story with somewhat episodic hijinks, while UY is entirely episodic without no overarching plot aside from the additions of new characters.
