One girl and Two boys, one of the boys is away after making a huge impact on her, while the other is around supporting her dreams, the girl is dense yet cheerful and lovable.
Both of the series have a competitive side to them, though in different majors, and the setting and the timeline are in high school.
Though these shows are about different things (music vs game), the premise and relationships are the same: some sort of a triangle (boy-girl-boy), that was formed in the past and was influential to their lives and paths, but they were separated. After some time the girl (that worked hard during this time) tries to bring them all together.
FN is more focused on romantic side, C is more focused on friendship, growth and hard work. FN is more crumpled and sharp around the edges, C is a fuller experience with better handling of characters, small details and overall message.
