Both have beautiful art with character personalities and appearances being more or less about the same.
The overall plot is pretty similar.

To enjoy both shows, you need to stop asking yourself "how does this make any sense" pretty early in the show. Characters in both shows somehow end up fighting a villain whose motive is meh at best in the middle of purple crystals sprouting all around. The design of the main heroine is similar as well, as is her backstory.
-The protagonists of both shows use their respective partner to fight enemies.
-The character design of Destiny and Inori is quite similar
