Darwin's Game

Male lead and female lead meets in a game that basically costs your life if you lose. Female lead becomes obsessed with male lead who was a coward and slowly becomes stronger and wishes both to live. These similarities are seen in both anime.
Both are about a "death game" that the main protagonist gets dragged into who is accompanied by a somewhat sadistic and crazy girl who is hiding some secrets that the protagonist finds out about along the way.
Darwins game is literally "mirai nikki lite" and by lite I mean less over the top in every aspect. The characters are less goofy, the yandere isn't nearly as crazy comical as yuno. Besides that though these shows are very similar.
Darwin's game is also a 'death game' type anime with good character development, high-stakes action scenes, and a yandere female character who teaches the MC the ropes. The art is good, the characters are likable, and the MC is OP but doesn't start that way.

Both are battle royale type shows where the characters' powers seem to exist without any definite logic or groundedness to their existence (A cellphone app is capable of giving them theie powers), though the powers have clear in-world limitations. Main male lead is a bit soft and an idealist where as the main girl is very powerful and falls in love with him quickly. Both are entertaining in a "turn off your brain and don't think about the logistics too much" sort of way.

Similar ideas in term of game and survival thing. Both also have a female character somehow obsessed with the male main character
Both shows deal with death games revolving around each player being given different abilities. They both also share similarities between the main leads, with the average yet unwilling to kill at first male, and the slightly more obsessive female

Both series have similar synopsis (boy trapped in the survival game), both have a side romantic story line, both have chaotic action (hide&seek, battle royale mode, grenades), similar characters and both main characters are trapped to game by using a mobile phone.

Both are centered around a life or death scenario with the use of phones. They are both incrediably edgy but the good kind of edgy where it can be very entertaining.

If you enjoyed Mirai Nikki, chances are you'll also enjoy Darwin's Game because both delve into the Battle Shonen genre. However, Darwin's Game focuses more on the development of the storyline, elevating the level of quality seen in Mirai Nikki. With intense battles and strategic gameplay, Darwin's Game offers a thrilling and captivating experience for fans of action-packed anime.

It´s the same concept. Characters play a game through the phone and each one has an unique ability. They fight each other to death but also can create clans and play tournaments to get rewards.

Similar phone based modern day survival game, although the main character is much more competent in Darwin’s Game. Similar yandere sidekick, although DG has more side characters / allies that I personally found compelling.
Both have a wuss main male character and a badass main female character.
They both show gory scenes with lots of murder and give off the same kind of vibe.
Same feel especially coming from the female(Yendere?), while using phones in a game of sort where you need to kill or be killed.

Both have a survival game concept. The female lead in Darwin's Game reminds me of Yuno, and I believe that sigils can be related to the diary concept in Mirai Nikki. The male MC in Darwin's game seems more competent than the male MC in Mirai Nikki also.

They both involve a male protagonist in a survival game that involves their cellphone. Both protagonists reluctant at first but keep going in order to survive.
Survival Games. Superordinary phones. Crazy female psycho partners. Future Diary has a weak protagonist, whereas Darwin's Game has a self-dependent protagonist.

Both are death game animes but up until now, Mirai Nikki has a more solid plot compared to D-game. Both are entertaining but only watch them with your brain switched off. If you think too hard about them each you'll find a lot of concepts that don't really make sense.
-Both protagonists are put into a death game
-Both have male & female leads
-Both have the lead female fall in love with the lead male
-Both show's death games are connected to their phones
The dark tone and aesthetic throughout the stories are similar along with the unprecedented suspense and thriller. Also, the premise is fairly balanced out and similar in both shows; The main characters (Yukki and Kaname) get their hands tied and thrown into a "death" game they have no control over and strive to "complete/finish" the death game.
Staged in the actual modern world, an innocent male character gets caught in the middle of a deathly game, meets a good female player and together fight for survival and and try to achieve victory

The protagonists are young boys who are timid and naive. The boys in both shows are supported by deranged and obsessive deuteragonists. Both shows incorporate a cellular device that controls their life in one aspect or another.
Both animes are battle royale based plot, that being said there is obviously violence involved. Not to mention, they are both action and extremely thrilling to see how the "game" will progress.
The 2 animes are Battle Royale.
Similar plot with different goal.
If u liked one of them mandatory see the other.
Darwin's Game starts with very strong Mirai Nikki vibes, mostly from the relatively average and inexperienced dark-haired male MC with a crazy killer female MC who loves him and protects him from the twisted game they're participating in.
Darwin's Game is different enough, largely in that it's a game open to an infinite number of people, while Mirai Nikki was only between 12 people, but the characters in both series still have to be wary of everyone around them in public in case they're being targeted.
Another key difference is Darwin's Game's Sigils, which are super powers unique to each individual player. While Mirai Nikki also

If you liked Mirai Nikki, you will probably also like Darwin's Game. Both anime revolve around a phone "game" and the first arc of Darwin's Game is a Battle Royale arc which is the whole of Mirai Nikki. There is also a crazy chick who likes the MC(buut in D-Game she isn't as crazy as in MN) So in conclusion:
-Both revolve around a phone
-Both are Battle Royale
-In both a crazy chick likes the MC

Although these anime involve different but relatively similar end goals, both of these involve the use of cellphones as a weapon against others in a battle-royale type "competition".

Both of these anime revolve around the concept of a death game in a battle royale theme. They both have characters with similar personalities which give both anime the same sort of feel. The death games are accessed by electronic devices (with some exceptions) which tell them who their target is, or, how close another player is. Although these anime are similar they have different features that still make them distinct from the other (can't mention other features without spoilers) which makes both of them worth watching in my opinion.

Darwin’s Game’s story as well as the story of Mirai Nikki is based around a death game scenario (including mobile phones).
The main female characters are very similar, both overpowered and obsessed with the main male character.
The main male characters are acting cowardly and at some point their behaviour begins to rotate in the other direction.
