Both anime narrate a deaths sequel, one is more like a game that the one who lives will be the new God, and the other is a school tragedy, that the peaple will stop dieying just when they found out the 'ghost roomate'. Blood and drama, characters with tragic stories, despair, two very popular anime from the same year.

It must be acknowledged that both Another and Mirai Nikki are similar in more ways than one can imagine. Coincidentally, both Another and Mirai Nikki are of the fantasy genre as well as the horror genre. The fact these anime's share both of my favourite genre's is enough to lead me in, but there's more. Also, both of these anime's have the same themes present within them. These themes consist of death and teenagers. These themes continue throughout every episode. Both are very dark and have similar characters. I shall explain further. Mirai Nikki's main central focus is around a girl. This is also subsequent

Both are school-based horrors. Both have supernatural themes. Both are violent and gory. Another has what some interpret as romance, while Mirai Nikki has romance.
•Both have a guy and a girl pairing focused on as the main characters
•both have supporting characters dieing/murdered around them as the anime progresses
•both question the existence of humanity, if one wants to survive in this game/curse, they have to do what ever it takes to win/solve to keep themselves from dieing.
•both have horror in it, that is cringe worthy, and the mystery is more exposed in Another, but mirai nikki is questionable.
•they are similar in the mystery deaths/murders/killings and those who love to watch people die
Both are well made shows involving mass death and killing. The two also both involve a female lead who is nice, but seems a little too willing to kill people when necessary. It also involves a death of many main and supporting characters, as well as each of those characters killing each other. The relationship between the two main characters is similar, where the boy likes the girl and knows she's misunderstood, and she likes him, but there's a hint of distrust.
Both have a dark haunting atmosphere and in both characters resort to violence in case to survive
Both series are very dark and based on horror. The main character in both series is boy who comes in contact with a certain girl that changes his life (and that of everybody else) completely. The element of mystery that suround the story in both series makes in one hell of a ride that will have you marathoning episode after episode in order to know what happens next. If you like gore and situations where people have to fight for their lives, these series are perfect for you.
Like survival games, crazy teenagers, odd romance, over the top gore and wild plot twists? Both of these shows will satisfy you.
Mirrai Nikki and Another is similar in the sense that it is all mystery, thriller, and somewhat school-relatred. They both contain death of many people related to the game(Mirrai Nikki) and the curse(Another).
If you enjoy horror I would recommend Mirai Nikki

Death is the main subject in both of the anime. If you are looking for better story line involve dramatic death scenes, then mirai nikki would be likely a best choice.
Both are really cool horror anime with a strange mystery going on in the story. And both the main protagonists are boys who don't fully understand what's going on.

These series are known to have dark atmospheres, suspense, and horror. As the main characters (usually a boy and a girl) progress, they mostly survive these obstacles, but several other characters either, become missing or get killed off in the end. If you are a big fan of horror and suspense, then these two will fit your time.
Mirai Nikki is based on competition and is mostly action where the characters use a phone as their weapon. Another is based on a mysterious girl gallivanting around the school with a strange horror phenomenal around them.
It's similar in terms of dark and psychological. More supernatural than Mirai Nikki and is more eerie than Mirai Nikki too. Overall a good anime though, would highly recommend the watch.
Both anime's are horror anime's. They include gore and have a female protagonist and a male protagonist.
Both anime are very gruesome in nature and involve blood being shed. Both anime have a mystery component and are suspenseful.
They're both about a killing game - Mirai Nikki is survival-oriented but Another is deaths at random. There's a fair bit of gore in both of them, and they both have psychological thriller elements. Music is also similar.
Both Mirai Nikki and Another are based on a group of people being picked off one by one, the whole event caused by a supernatural force. They're both complex and tricky to follow at times, and have some real gory deaths.
-Both gory
-Both about high school students
-Both focus on death
-Sad character pasts
-Psychotic people(girls)
-Great character development
Both anime focus on a relationship between a main male character and a main female character, but Mirai Nikki is more of a one-sided relationship, whereas Another isn't. I found myself hooked on both.
Lots of violence and blood.
It has a mystery side to it similar to the "who is going to win" feeling of Mirai Nikki.
Another becomes off the wall crazy!
Twist ending!

These two shows are similar because of the ages of the main characters and the horror aspects. Both shows have their share of blood and gore and also have a sort of "you died before" theme.

One day it's a normal school class, the other day it's a horrific mess with everyone dying or trying to kill one another.
Both consist of weak plots which easily fall apart just by the main characters asking questions, they'll have you trying to wrap your head around how characters could be so stupid. Both feel like everything happening is contrived nonsense. But they both made me laugh, I don't know if it was on purpose or not but whatever.

Similarities:
- Blood and gore.
- Mystery/Suspense.
- Lots of plot twists to keep the story flowing and yet interesting.
Mirai Nikki focuses on a "survival game", while Another depicts high schoolers trying to figure out what is killing people in their school.
Both anime narrate a deaths sequel, one is more like a game that the one who lives will be the new God, and the other is a school tragedy
Blood and drama, characters with tragic stories, despair, in the same way

the anime themselves are both tasked with the characters trying to 'survive'. Another deals with spiritual entities whilst Mirai nikki is more based on a game they have to play to become God. Also Yuno is represented like the haunting spirit from another as both are dealt with the task of killing off the cast one by one...

Involuntary setting. Another and Future Diary bring about the story of being forced into a deadly situation along with their other companions.
In Future Diary, Yukiteru is forced into a survival game in a battle which the last man standing becomes God. With Another, Kouichi lives in a new habitat where he begins to understand that his new life is a much more unorthodox. With both anime's separate stories, they do connect in the sense that they are stories which show what actions and reactions people should take in such situations, with the question, "was this the right thing to do?"
While Another is a depressing anime
