Ouran Koukou Host Club

Just like fruits basket and Ouran High school host club, hana yori dango has that aspect of reverse harem. But hana yori dango and Ouran high school host club both are stories about a poor girl attending a prestigious school for rich kids. Both poor girls are independent and full of life so all the rich guys are interested in her life and spirit and the differentness. Both anime are wonderful and both are a must watch.
Both animes take place in an expensive private school, and the main characters are from the middle class. Both the main characters are female and the animes are about the main characters relationship with a group of boys that are considered the elite of the school.
Both are the same in that a normal girl entered into a school that normally only rich people can get into. Ouran High School Host Club is more fun and has a lot of comedy, whereas Hana Yori Dango focuses more on relationships and what may be more realistic if a girl were to enter an upper-class school. Ouran High School Host Club focuses on relationships as well but isn't as realistic as Hana Yori Dango.
One middle-class girl and her reverse-harem of insanely wealthy guys, coming right up! Ouran is intentionally a lot more gimmicky and silly to the point of ocassional parody when it comes to its approach, but Hanadan's funny moments are not exactly scarce.

There are pretty obvious similarities between these two anime. Both anime are romance shoujo where the mc is a poor girl studying in a school for rich kids. She will get herself involved in a group of male friends thus the start of her not so ordinay high school life.

They both center around an average girl who attends an elite private school, only to get in trouble with different groups in the school. In ouran, Haruhi breaks a vase and becomes indebted to the host club, and in hana yori dango, the main character gets into a fight with the schools biggest donors sons, the f4. After their initial trouble they end up kind of becoming friends and romance ensues! hana yori dango is more romance and drama based and ouran is definitely driven more by comedy, but they both have a reverse harem, a really strong, likeable mc, and romance.
