While the plots and characters differ quite a lot, both of these series are refreshing, relaxing slice of life series set in a school environment. They have similar animation styles and humour.

They are both calming shows that makes you feel calm and peaceful. The characters are likable and are just trying to get through their school life along with their friends. Highly enjoyable slice of life shows.
Both combine ikemen, iyashikei, pastel colors, and light comedy very well. For the uninitiated, that means both give you a soothing feeling and have cute guys.
Kimi to Boku (KtB) and Tanaka-kun wa Itsumo Kedaruge (TwIK) are both about the daily lives of the main characters. In KtB, it is a group of 5 friends while it is just a pair in TwIK.
Both animes have very similar art styles and both have an extremely calming atmosphere or 'feel' to it.
They both mainly focus on comedy, however KtB has some drama once in a while.
If you're looking for an easy and relaxing anime to watch, KtB or TwIK are great 'healing' animes.
