Coming of age stories about overcoming social aloofness and awkwardness with a little help from friends and in this case, boys in high school. KtB has a charming romantic subplot while Tsuritama shows how hobbies can be encouraging and shared passions. There are also cheerful characters who push the story forward.

The principal difference between both is that "Tsuritama" has the alien stuff, while "Kimi to Boku." hasn't.

Both animes have a group of highschool boys interacting with one another. Two of the same seiyuu's are in it (Miyu Irino, and Kouki Uchiyama).

Both are about the adventures of four boys. One may be about fishing, but it's also about the story of a beautiful friendship that blossoms, while the other is about four boys who have been friends since they were little and how they're friendship grows stronger with each episode. Both are wonderfully portrayed and both are definitely amazing!
