•both are pretty much different in plots, mysteries in one, musical in the other
•both i rated differently, i loved Uta Pri, with its excitable musical lyrics from each character, yet i hated and dropped Amnesia early on, because its just really DULL!!! even though the artwork music were great, it was boring.
•they are just similar in the shy girl surrounded by lots of guys who adore her and have feelings for her, in a roundabout way, you probably might like one

Okay~ in all seriousness, the reverse-harem thing.
Also, the protagonists kinda have the same look. I think the red hair and yellowy-green eyes automatically means weak protagonists in anime (Arcana Famiglia). It's a trend!

While in (Amnesia) the girl loses memory and apparently will get help from the five guys to recover his memories.

They are both are about a group of boys that are in love with the heroine. Both anime allows the viewer to "choose" which character is the best to stay with the heroine. The heroine is a simple character that allows the viewers to feel that that they are the heroine.
